Who We are.
Gregg Hietpas, principal at New Boundaries, navigates through the insights world leveraging his prior corporate experiences. He has faced many of the situations, dilemmas, and difficult decisions that clients and their teams face.
Gregg’s corporate experience includes a background at Coca-Cola Enterprises and 3M. During his years at Coke he developed and led the implementation of regional promotions, managed in-store merchandising, launched new Coca-Cola products, and negotiated cooperative marketing contracts with clients.
At 3M, Gregg worked in the Consumer Products group at 3M in new product development and product management. While in product development, he led teams through the product development process including idea creation, market research, market analysis, business plan development and implementation. As the brand and product manager for Scotch® masking and specialty tapes, Gregg led the global cross-functional team in developing and implementing the business strategy and marketing plan.
In 2003, Gregg started New Boundaries out of a passion for new business development projects and translating voice of customer data into insights that help drive new marketing strategies
Gregg earned a BBA in Marketing from University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire and a MBA in Marketing and Strategic Management from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. Gregg is also trained in qualitative research through the RIVA Training Institute, the leading qualitative research training organization in the United States, and is an active member of QRCA, Qualitative Research Consultants Association.
